It is extremely hot in my room right now and I’m pausing my movie to blog…at midnight…
I haven’t had a solid update on this blog since the summer (only my work) so I decided to kind of keep this blog alive-ish. So I guess I’ll start off by saying that 3rd term was blur; a big fat blur and I’d like to keep it that way.
Moving on.
The only real shooting I’ve done over my month long break is digital. Yuck. It’s not even artistic shooting it’s more of just documenting my hang outs with friends and so on and so forth. It’s mostly to keep my old friends in my memory, so I can keep tabs on them since I never get to see them. It’s so depressing that I only get to see them when we’re on a break and we all go to school in the same state. The problem? We all live far away from each other now. One friend lives in central California, another in Long Beach, another in Brea, another here, another there. You get the point. Then there’s me. Still in Pomona. I loathe Pomona so much, but when it’s me and all my friends united it feels like we’re all still in high school again; like nothing ever really changed. Just our hair, or our clothes, or our relationship status, haha.

I haven’t even seen all of my “hometown” friends yet. There’s a few I haven’t seen yet. We always have a dinner or something planned before we go back and that’s this coming Saturday. I already know not everyone’s going to show up because that’s just how shit goes.

I see it as that I saw the important ones. Harsh words I know but I’m kind of blunt like that.
I’m going to go “hiking” with my 4x5 sometime this week when I’m not mentoring the incoming 1st termers at Art Center. annnnnnd I’m saving up for something new. Something bigger than a 4x5. Can you guess?
Anyway, back to my movie.
Happy New Fear, I mean, Year.
