Quick little quicky.
Myself and my brain have been all over the damn place lately. Week 3 is ahead of me. I shot for architecture yesterday and I wanted nothing more than to shoot myself. It aggravated me so much because cars kept slowing down wondering what the hell I was doing. Someone even came up to me and asked me what I was doing. Everyone who is not a photographer thinks the 4x5 is some kind of a weapon of mass destruction, or some super secret government camera. I really don’t know, people are pretty oblivious. I couldn’t use the 90mm lens because I would literally have to be standing in the middle of the street to use it. My life is more important than this class, so there ya go. I put my 210mm lens back on and left the bag bellows on and went back onto the curb. I shot the house. Quickly, I picked up my camera, ran across the street with it, planted it on the driveway, focused, composed it, and shot my detail shot. Then I got the fuck out of there before the family came home. A headache soon over took me.
Today I’m shooting 8752057023 things. Not really. 2 things, plus writing a 1 page paper for something I should’ve did, like, Wednesday. Anyway, I photographed my cousin Sophia earlier today. I’m trying to photograph people I’ve never photographed ever in my life for my fine art class. I like it better that way anyway, I seem to get a better picture that way. Especially when shooting with my 4x5. I drove us to an empty field/lot somewhere in Montclair. I loved the location, so pretty. I wanted to run around the whole place. I shot 4x5, but I only shot 2 sheets of color since that’s all I sadly had left. The rest was B&W. After I shot some digital ones because I was bored and I was in love with the area and light.

Then she wanted to photograph me. Excuse the bitch face and just my overall gross face.
Yuck.
Then we found these two little mounds.
Sophia: “HAHA, they look like boobs! Roman go run over to the boobs!”
Feed me.
Now, I’m setting up a still life. I have to wait until it’s dark to shoot it. Until then, I’m going to write my paper.
Bye.
